This year has been eventful, with the work of Ragnar Axelsson featured in 22 exhibitions around the world. Among these were three solo exhibitions in London, Bellinzona and Reykjavik. Ragnar's work has travelled to renowned venues in London, Tokyo, New York, Singapore, Beijing, Istanbul, Geneva, Munich, Lisbon, and Reykjavik, among others, captivating audiences worldwide.
Looking ahead to 2025, Ragnar's work continues its global journey. Exhibitions are planned in Seoul, Berlin, Anchorage, and Brussels, and further locations will be announced soon.
The Qerndu Gallery, located at Laugavegur 3 in Reykjavik, welcomes visitors with an opportunity to explore Ragnar's photography in person. As part of its evolving program, Qerndu will also begin showcasing works by other exceptional photographers.
We are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of Behind Mountains, a reimagined edition of Ragnar's iconic book, to be published by Kehrer Verlag globally and Qerndu Publishing in Iceland.
