Photo London 2025: Ragnar Axelsson, Orri Jónsson and Ari Magg

Qerndu is pleased to return to Photo London for our second year at the fair. We invite you to visit us at Booth G07 at Somerset House from May 15 to 18, where we’ll be presenting new and classic works by three leading Icelandic photographers: Ragnar Axelsson, Ari Magg, and Orri Jónsson.

Our presentation includes a curated selection of Ragnar Axelsson’s powerful black-and-white photographs from Greenland, Iceland, and Norway. Spanning 1987 to 2021, the works on view include images from his acclaimed series Last Days of the Arctic, Behind Mountains, Arctic Heroes, Where the World is Melting, and Glacier.

Also featured are Ari Magg’s striking diptych Hrafntinnusker No. 1 and No. 2 (2018), alongside Orri Jónsson’s moody and evocative Interiors series (2002–2013), capturing the quiet atmosphere of abandoned homes in rural Iceland.
